FOBB uses the AccessibilityService API to detect physical button presses. This is a technical requirement for hardware-level control.
🛠 Troubleshooting: Keep Accessibility Service Active
If the Accessibility Service for FOBB Pro keeps turning off after a TV restart or standby, please follow these steps:
1. Disable Energy Optimization (Basic)
Prevent the system from "sleeping" the app to save power:
• Go to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Energy optimization (or Battery optimization).
• Find FOBB Pro in the list and set it to "Don't optimize."
• Note: Menu names may vary slightly by TV brand (Sony, TCL, Philips, etc.).
2. Force Auto-Start via ADB (Advanced)
For some TV models, the system explicitly ignores auto-start requests. If you are comfortable using ADB (via a PC or tools like atvTools), run these commands to fix the flag:
• Check current status:
